Ferré, modern aesthetic sensibility and classical elegance perfume, finally launched. Ferré Perfume created by Piere Bourdon in 2005. Ferré Perfume can be describe as a fine example of a modern composition fusing light into every single twist of its development. The perfume still maintains its composition, which is a fine balance between the sweet floral and the earthy metallic elements of iris root.

Similar to Piere Bourdon’s other products, Iris Poudré, Ferré has the floral nuances to create a seamless transition between the opulence of magnolia, the sweetness of rose and the chilly silkiness of iris. The difference  between Ferré and Iris Poudré, In Ferré, the focus is on heightened clarity, but in Iris Poudré, the aldehydes lend the misty quality. It is the lucid crispness of air after a rainstorm, the gossamer lightness of fine silk, the transparency of leaves against the bright sun.

The compositions created over the past ten years, consist of, the sheer fruity top notes bear no relation to the cloying fruit salad accords that grace many feminine compositions. Gorgeous sillage, a scented trail that follows the wearer is the favourite aspect of Ferré. For someone who search for subtility, presence, and transparence.

Serge Mansau, designed the striking bottle that match with the elegant contents. Characteristics of the Gianfranco Ferré’s design shown in its architectural lines, that gained him fame as “Frank Lloyd Wright of Fashion.”

Ferré includes notes of Florentine iris root, jasmine, honeydew melon, rose, iris leaves, bergamot, ylang-ylang, basmati rice, pineapple, vanilla, magnolia, amber, freesia, and iris petals.

The fragrance should not be confused either with Gianfranco Ferré, a fresh white floral melody launched in 1984, nor  with  Ferré by Ferré, a discontinued soft floral bouquet created in 1991.

Ferré is available from Gianfranco Ferré boutiques, Neiman Marcus, Saks5thAvenue, and Nordstrom
